Actor, novelist, playwright and memoirist, Timothy Findley was both honoured and loved within the Canadian writing community. A member of the Order of Ontario, Officer of the Order of Canada, and Chevalier de l'Ordre des Arts et des Lettres de France, he received a number of literary prizes and honorary degrees.
