Ernest Buckler (1908 - 1984)


     Described by Margaret Atwood as “one of the path-breakers for the modern Canadian novel”, Ernest Buckler wrote stories of the Annapolis Valley in Nova Scotia, where he lived for most of his life. The bust is finished in pages from two editions of THE MOUNTAIN AND THE VALLEY, his best known novel.
